Shiseido combines AI and VR Try On technology

Beauty group Shiseido has introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) makeup advisor to its offering made in partnership with a digital tech company. The technology couples selfie analysis technology that combines personalised recommendations with virtual try-on technology to provide users with advice on makeup.


The technology is available to use through Shiseido’s website, where customers can upload a selfie, answer some questions, and the AI technology will suggest personalised options for beauty products. The feature launched for customers in the Europe region last week.
